About NGG
The only movement for young people, led by young people.
NGG was founded by a group of passionate young South Africans who saw a gap in the political landscape — a space where young people could lead, not just follow. We believe that the future of this country belongs to the youth, and we are building a movement that reflects that belief.

To organise, empower and mobilise young people and all communities excluded by the current system, in order to achieve political participation, economic justice, social dignity, ethical leadership, accountable governance, African advancement and community empowerment.
The political, economic, and social liberation of the people of South Africa remains incomplete. NGG exists to organise citizens excluded by poverty, unemployment, inequality, violence, corruption and social neglect — and to provide a political home for the youth, led by the youth.

For decades, young people have been told to wait their turn. NGG believes the youth are ready to lead now — while drawing wisdom from elders as advisors, not rulers.
Official Symbols
Green, Black, Gold and Red — the Raised Fist, the Red Star, and the Gold Spear each carry meaning drawn directly from our Constitution.
Courage and people's power — the fist stands for a generation that refuses to be sidelined.
Sacrifice and liberation — a reminder of what the struggle for real freedom has already cost, and still asks.
African heritage, protection of future generations, and readiness to advance social and economic freedom.
Why NGG Was Founded
Millions of young people are locked out of the economy, with no clear path from education to work.
Corruption and broken promises have left young South Africans disillusioned with politics as usual.
Policies that shape young lives are too often written by people furthest from those realities.
